Sculptural piece done in response to the US government's ban on music after "9/11", and its continued censorship & control of the media and its blacklisting of outspoken artists. Artist's statement and documentation accompanies. 

Jumbo gourd, with collage and painted finish incorporating images of many musicians who have been branded as "politically incorrect" over the past 5 or 6 decades. With barbed wire and chain. Lyrics to banned songs are covering the inside of this sculptural gourd instrument.
